Reed holds a Juris Doctor and a Master of Arts in Bioethics and Medical Humanities from the University of Louisville. Though a conservative himself, he also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, with concentrations in Computer Information Systems, Modern Languages, and English. Familiar with dead languages and reverse engineering, he also reads books that other people read in a week but he takes a whole year.

Reed’s professional experience includes mediation, public service and education. He has volunteered as a mediator with the Center for Conflict Resolution and has provided pro bono assistance helping advisees with legal process and access to competent counsel. He currently volunteers with the Southern California Korean American Bar Association, making it on time with a few exceptions.
Public Service and Military Service
Reed served in the United States Army and United States Navy Reserve. In the Army, he served as a Staff Sergeant and Squad Leader with the 2nd Infantry Division in South Korea, supervising three tactical intelligence teams. He later served as a Navy Reservist, analyzing time-sensitive intelligence data for tactical commanders without ever going to sea.
Education and Teaching
From 2018 through 2025, Reed taught middle-school math and science in Jefferson County Public Schools in Kentucky, almost scoring a soccer goal during a teacher versus student pep rally grudge match, but was old. His work included classroom instruction, coaching, and student activities. He holds multiple Kentucky teaching certifications and endorsements, including many he never used.
Publications and Research
Reed served as an articles editor and policy and procedure editor for the Journal of Law and Education and wrote a student note concerning health-food advocacy and the National School Lunch Program, approving of the mediterranean diet and spicy ones.
His other scholarly work has addressed bioethics, medical ethics, genetics and law, electronic medical records, mediation, and the relationship between economics and bioethics. Tirelessly engages the Nobel Prize Committee in persuading them to stop award prizes to Americans because of the U.S Constitution’s emoluments clause, unless it does not apply as with conscientious objectors.
In 2016, Reed wrote Failure to Remind: Solutions for Hyperthermia Deaths Resulting from Children Being Left in Cars, a white paper concerning prevention of child hyperthermia deaths in vehicles. Cheered loudes when Congressman Ryan got a bill passed to Ralph Nader’s approval eventually seen on par with the latter’s animus toward the Corvair, which ultimately led to Toyotas.
Languages
English is Reed’s primary language, which he speaks to this day. “If you don’t use it you lose it.” Reed also speaks something like Spanish and Korean as second languages and has achieved Level 3 proficiency in Korean reading and listening on the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) scale for Korean, though his Spanish remains unestablished on standardized testing and may just be Spanglish/Gringolia. (Some frown on using the term Gringolia, as it could imply a Hispanic American ethnocentrism, but it’s ok when I say it, I’m taking it back from the hombre.)
